Bristol Grammar School Sportswear Announcement

Bristol Grammar School has requested that we publish the following statement:

"Bristol Grammar School has agreed alternative supply arrangements for BGS sportswear on-line with immediate effect. To avoid confusion and inconvenience, Ikon has been asked to remove from sale all BGS sportswear goods.

Any queries you may have in connection with the supply of BGS sportswear should be made direct to Bristol Grammar School.

Ikon is still regarded by BGS as the official supplier of BGS uniform and all items of the BGS uniform will continue to be sold by Ikon until further notice."

Bristol Grammar School Pullover Announcement

Regrettably , due to reasons outside of Ikon’s control, Bristol Grammar pullovers in sizes 28” to 34” are currently out of stock, despite an order being in place since the first week of January. Over the last few months, the global market has experienced a number of challenges including the Indian government imposing monthly limits on the export of raw materials and in some cases, banning it entirely. These drastic actions have resulted in a worldwide shortage of yarn, with consumer demand exceeding supply. The latest information we have available from our supplier is that they are expecting to receive a delivery of the pullovers in early September, however, a definitive date has not yet been confirmed. Manufacturers of these products are few and all are currently subjected to the same problem unfortunately.
